Tx-Module
A standard Tx-module series that achieves optimal light distribution according to the application. By integrating flat lenses (Platanus® / Ardisia®) based on SCIVAX's nanoimprint technology with VCSELs and PDs, you can select from Flood distribution, Dot distribution, or even Combo (Dot & Flood) distribution that combines both, depending on your specific needs.
We offer three types depending on the lens used: Flood distribution (Platanus®), Dot distribution (Ardisia®), and Combo (Dot & Flood) distribution, which integrates both into a single module. Equipped with the Platanus® diffusive optical element, which achieves highly uniform Flood (area) light distribution. It provides uniform illumination with minimal unevenness for short- to medium-range 3D sensing and facial recognition.

Equipped with the Ardisia® dot projector optical element, which directly images dot patterns. Through high-efficiency dot irradiation, it supports medium- to long-range 3D sensing and distance measurement.

Integrates Flood distribution (Platanus®) and dot pattern (Ardisia®) into a single module. A single unit can switch between or simultaneously use area illumination and dot projection, supporting a wide variety of sensing scenarios.

Light Distribution Design Selectable by Application
Choose from Flood distribution, dot pattern, or a Combo of both to match the illumination requirements for ToF sensing. It supports diverse sensing applications from short to long ranges.
Stable Illumination Across Wide Field of View
Supports a wide field of view up to 140°×110°. The uniform light distribution covers a broad sensing area, contributing to improved recognition accuracy.
Integrated VCSEL/PD Package
A compact package integrating the VCSEL light source and photodiode with the lens. It is easy to incorporate into equipment and supports a stable supply through nanoimprint mass production.

Based on the Amtelus® platform, the ultra-compact Tx-Module integrates a VCSEL, lens, and PD into a package of 1 mm³ or less, achieving stable light distribution performance for iToF systems. Specifications by generation are as follows.
